NZILA Conference 2016

In late April Garth attended the 2016 NZILA Conference in Dunedin. The conference explored climate change scenarios for Dunedin’s biodiversity, infrastructure and city-form in the face of sea level rise, increasingly erratic weather and an altered atmosphere. The conference was well attended and included three field trips and a one day design charrette focusing on exploring climate impacts on the city and looking at ways design could play a role in this. One of the charrettes was facilitated by Garth. The conference was a great chance for industry professionals to come together and discuss key future issues facing our cities and regions
