Reset worked collaboratively with the Guangzhou Urban Planning & Design Survey Research Institute (GZPI) to develop a concept urban design strategy for the proposed 78 hectare Guangzhou International Medicine Port development.
This massive brownfields development, on the edge of the Pearl River, includes excavating a 38 hectare harbour to create a long waterfront edge, islands and marinas, and a beach. Facing the harbour is a collection of residential, retail, office and research buildings from 100m to 250m high.
Our development strategies cover three key areas:
- Future use of the Harbour's water area
- Waterfront Public Space Strategy
- Built Form Strategy
