Reset's Auckland Harbour Crossing Ideas Get Thumbs Up from Sir Bob Harvey
We received a note from former West Auckland Mayor and Former Sky Walk Patron Sir Bob Harvey saying he likes our two bridges proposal.
“I am delighted Mayor Brown has joined our decades of angst and debate to get a second Harbour crossing. Its leadership and vision that is needed to sort out a clear and popular way forward. His concept gets us focused and away from the hugely costly and destructive tunnel proposal. Three cheers Browny.
“I have to say I do like Reset’s two-bridge proposal. The Waitematā Bridge seems like an elegant and totally feasible complement to our beloved Harbour Bridge and their Causeway Bridge across the upper harbour would relieve congestion from the central city bottleneck.
“A positive start on fixing Auckland's traffic woes and I hope Central Government is listening to what Aucklanders are saying.”
